Creating Safe Spaces for Independent Living
We create safer homes that support independence. From fall-prevention upgrades and full remodels to ongoing services like cleaning and living supports, SafePath is your partner in making home the safest place to be.
We are fully licensed contractors providing modifications that meet ADA standards for safety and accessibility. From ramps and railings to doorway widening and bathroom upgrades, our work ensures homes are both functional and compliant.
As CAPS, we are trained to design and deliver modifications that reduce fall risks and support long-term independence. Our expertise helps older adults and individuals with mobility challenges remain safe and comfortable at home.
As a HCBS partner, we bridge the gap between healthcare and construction. We work with families, case managers, and funding programs to make essential modifications accessible, helping individuals remain in their homes with dignity and peace of mind.
Ramps, widened doorways, lever
handles, and secure stair railings make
homes safer and easier to navigate,
ensuring individuals can move freely
and maintain independence
throughout their living space.
Walk-in showers, grab bars, non-slip
flooring, and raised toilets reduce slips
and falls in one of the most high-risk
areas of the home, creating a safer
environment for daily routines and
personal care.
Upgraded lighting, improved flooring,
bedside supports, and clutter removal
eliminate common hazards throughout
the home, lowering the risk of falls and
providing peace of mind for families and
caregivers.
We begin with a thorough evaluation of your home and specific needs. Our team can perform the assessment directly, or if you’re already working with an Occupational Therapist, we partner with them to ensure the recommendations are clinically aligned. This step helps us design the right modifications for safety, comfort, and independence.
Once the scope of work is defined, we provide a clear, detailed agreement. If payer reimbursement (such as Medicaid, insurance, or other funding sources) requires prior authorization, we help ensure the necessary documentation is prepared and submitted. This step includes the recommended modifications, materials, costs, timelines, and payer requirements—so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.
Our licensed professionals carry out the modifications with precision and respect for your home. From ramps and grab bars to more extensive adaptations, we focus on quality workmanship and minimal disruption, keeping you informed every step of the way.
After the work is complete, we confirm that everything meets your expectations—and, where applicable, your Occupational Therapist’s approval as well. At this stage, final payments are completed, whether directly from the client, through payer reimbursement, or a combination of both. Only once all approvals and payments are in place do we consider the project finished.
